Hi Kerryann,
I am following your adventures in low oxalates and cheering you on every step of the way. I am so curious….. is there any hope of someone producing the oxalobacteria as a probiotic supplement? It seems it would be so helpful to so many people. There must be a way!
Molly, there are at least two companies attempting to bring one to market, but apparently it’s very difficult as the oxalobacter dies upon contact with air.
Hmmm…. fingers crossed!
The fecal transplant is apparently very effective. My mother was telling me that it has been written up in the New York TImes. It might be a good way to get oxalobacteria.
