This week on The Living Kitchen, Jeff and KerryAnn discuss the beginning steps to take in transitioning to a real foods diet. We cover changing your salt, changing and reducing your sweeteners and how to begin reducing the packaged and processed foods in your diet and making the condiments and items at home instead. The first episode of every month, we’ll go over how to change to a real food diet. You can listen at this link or use the embedded player above. Hi Kerry Ann,
I thought you might appreciate this interview with Dr. Robert Lustig at UCSF medical center that just aired on Forum this week (San Francisco Bay Area’s NPR radio channel). In the beginning and then again at the end he talks about the rising cause of too much sugar for causing liver cirrhosis. It’s also full of references to studies demonstrating the growing sugar crisis.
