I’m on an endorphin high right now. I’m going to enjoy it, because I know it won’t last! lol
Jeff and I did BWO+ this morning and I have to say that it was easier now than it was the first time I did it back in 2005. I was only able to do four reps in the correct form for the arms, but I didn’t cry and push myself through it like I did six years ago. That’s progress!
Jeff had a terrible time with it. Half-way through the work-out, when you begin switching arms and using both sides of your brain, he looked at me and said, “Where’s the work-out for engineers?” He couldn’t do some moves due to his bad knees, so we agreed that tomorrow we will step down to the Rehabilitative work-out. I hope that will allow him to strengthen his knees and eventually he’ll be able to move back to BWO+. It will mean slower progress for him with his weight loss, but progress is progress and at this point I’m thrilled he’s willing to try to loose weight and get off of his high blood pressure meds.
My Goals for This Round:
- My clothing is getting a little snug, so I’d like to loose enough that it fits correctly. I’m a size six.
- Gain muscle strength.
- Gain endurance.
- Become more proportional. Budge that stubborn belly fat.
- Continue skin brushing daily.
I will do the Rehabilitative work-out with Jeff, then do the additional moves that are on BWO+ but not Rehabilitative while he’s in the shower. I hope that will help me progress faster.
