I’ve received a number of e-mails about how to replace corn syrup in a recipe. Most of the recipes have been for pecan pie. The most straightforward replacement is making homemade ‘corn syrup’ out of sugar and water. In some recipes that only call for a small amount of corn syrup and it is only being used as the sweetener, you can instead use maple syrup.
