concentrace/”>Over the weekend, I had a number of people ask about last week’s post where I mention adding Concentrace to the stock.
Concentrace is a trace mineral supplement I keep on hand and use constantly. If something is liquid or is cooked in liquid, like rice, I add Concentrace to the cooking water. I also add it to our drinking water. I try to sneak at least 4 drops of Concentrace into everything I fix.
I add ten drops to a finished gallon of chicken stock after straining it but before putting it into the refrigerator. Since we have had dental issues in the past and are working to heal some cavities in one of the children, I look for available opportunity to get trace minerals into my kids in a way that tastes good. If you want to know more about healing cavities, you can check out the healing cavities with nutrition thread on our forum.
What’s Cooking?
Friday, I went to Mom’s house and we did a batch cooking session. We started another gallon-and-a-half of chicken stock at her house between a crock-pot and the stove. We also cooked and froze multiple meals containing stock for them to eat through the week. To help dad heal, he’s getting stock, coconut oil, water kefir and chia seeds daily.
Saturday I made chicken and rice.
Sunday, I finished that batch of stock I had going in the roaster and I portioned the majority of it into ice cube trays after reducing it down. I started another batch of chicken stock from the remaining backs I bought from the health food store last week with two gallons of water. We ate leftover chicken and rice all day. I had it for all three meals, I enjoyed it so much. I added extra stock for lunch and dinner to make it into a thick soup. One of my kids liked it so much that they ate it for lunch and dinner then asked me to heat more up as a snack before they went to bed.

I use Concentrace a lot too – especially in my water kefir – the grains LOVE minerals!
I’ll be working on more chicken stock this week – we use it up SO fast this time of year!

This is a great idea.
Thank you so much…I was curious as to what it was, and did a little research myself, but I think I’m going to order some tonight and give it a try.
